inlingua Bremen is approved by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) to conduct integration courses. Immigrants who immigrated to Germany after 01.01.2005 are obliged to take part in an integration course. The German courses at inlingua Bremen are not only efficient and practical, they are also fun!
The integration of foreigners living lawfully and permanently in Germany into economic, cultural and social life in Germany is promoted.
In order to ensure faster integration in Germany, asylum seekers and tolerated persons with good prospects of staying have also been granted access to integration courses on application since November 2015. At present, asylum seekers from the following countries of origin can apply: Eritrea, Iraq, Iran, Somalia and Syria.
In addition to these groups of persons, citizens of the European Union (EU), spouses, partners or family members can participate in the integration courses on application.
The language goal of the integration courses is the CEFR language level B1.

How many hours does an integration course comprise?
An integration course is a sponsored language course and consists of two parts and a final test:
Basic and advanced language courses with a total of 6 x 100 hours of instruction
Orientation course of 100 lessons with the topics: Legal system, culture and history of Germany. In general, "Life in Germany" is taught here.
Final test German test for immigrants (DTZ), in which German language skills up to GER level B1 are tested.
The inlingua Sprachschule Bremen offers general integration courses for all levels. Participants with previous knowledge can start in a higher module. The correct module is determined by a placement test. Regular attendance is compulsory. The integration courses are also open to unauthorised participants (guests).

25 lessons (45 min. each) per week
How much does an integration course cost?
€ 2,29 pro UE = € 229,00 per month for sponsored participants
You can be exempted from the cost contribution if you are unemployed (SGB II) or if you get help to support yourself (SGB XII). Another way of exemption is if you receive housing benefit or are exempt from the GEZ. A corresponding notice of performance is to be submitted with course registration!
Occupation-related German courses
Parallel to or following the integration courses, job-related language and further qualification modules for job-seekers and employed migrants and refugees are promoted. The national vocational German language support programme is made up of various modules that can be individually combined in a modular manner and combine German language instruction with measures taken by the Federal Employment Agency.
Currently, vocational German courses with GER language targets A2, B1, B2, C1 as well as special modules for academic health professions, non-academic health and nursing professions and trade are being promoted.
